Two men were fatally shot early Tuesday at a recording studio in Laurel, Md., according to the Laurel Police Department.

The shooting was reported about 1:30 a.m. at a studio in the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue, said Laura Guenin, a spokeswoman.

One of the men died at the scene and the second at a hospital. Their names and ages were not available Tuesday night. A third man was wounded in the incident and is being treated at a hospital, Guenin said.

Detectives say the shooting may have stemmed from an argument, Guenin said. Further details were not immediately available.

Laurel is an independent city of about 30,000 within the boundaries of Prince George’s County.
